WHAT WE WORK WITH

Business, technology and project challenges that need the right mix of expertise.

UTTN works with business, technology and project-related challenges where different areas of expertise need to be combined, opportunities need to be assessed or suitable partners need to be found.

We do not attempt to deliver every task ourselves. Our role is to examine the situation, clarify the need, assess possible routes and help identify relevant people or organisations for the next stage.

01

Business & Markets

Explore market opportunities and identify customers, distributors, suppliers or local partners.

02

Innovation & Technology

Structure technology needs and identify experts, R&D partners or commercialisation routes.

03

Projects & Funding

Assess funding routes and bring together capabilities for international project teams.

01 BUSINESS & MARKETS

Explore new markets and find the people who matter.

We help companies explore opportunities in new markets and identify potential business partners. We can research public sources, build targeted lists, help structure a proposition and support initial outreach.

UTTN does not guarantee contracts, sales or successful entry into a specific market. Our role is to reduce uncertainty, assess opportunities and help identify a sensible route forward.

01

Market assessment

Initial review of the target market, context, opportunities and practical constraints.

02

Customer & partner search

Identify potential customers, distributors, commercial partners or local representatives.

03

Supplier search

Find potential suppliers, delivery providers or specialist local capabilities.

04

Competitive landscape

Review visible competitors, positioning and the structure of the local market.

05

Local experts

Identify local advisers, specialists or execution partners relevant to the challenge.

06

Initial outreach

Support the first meaningful contact with selected potential partners.

02 INNOVATION & TECHNOLOGY

When the idea exists, but the route is still unclear.

UTTN can be useful when there is an idea, a technology-related need or a potentially innovative solution, but it is not yet clear which expertise, partners or programmes are required.

UTTN does not carry out research activities itself unless a suitable project team has been formed for a specific assignment.

01

Define the problem

Clarify the need, expected result and the practical context of the technology challenge.

02

Structure the idea

Turn a broad innovation concept into a clearer question, use case or development route.

03

Desk research

Conduct initial research around technologies, organisations, programmes and relevant actors.

04

Find an expert

Identify sector, technology or intellectual property specialists relevant to the challenge.

05

Find an R&D partner

Identify universities, research organisations, R&D teams or companies for pilots and testing.

06

Explore commercialisation

Investigate possible routes to testing, application, support programmes and market use.

03 PROJECTS & FUNDING

Start with the project, not the grant call.

Not every business or technology idea should be funded through a grant. We therefore begin by understanding the underlying project rather than by searching for a call.

We do not guarantee grant awards or other forms of funding. Outcomes depend on programme rules and the assessment carried out by the relevant authority.

01

Programme search

Identify potentially relevant grant or other funding programmes.

02

Basic eligibility

Review the initial participation criteria before deeper project preparation.

03

Idea-to-call fit

Assess whether the project concept fits a specific programme or call.

04

Partner search

Identify organisations and experts that may strengthen the project team.

05

Consortium structure

Help define an initial structure, roles and capability mix for a consortium.

06

Proposal support route

Identify the right specialist consultant or next step for application preparation.
